Hidden Oasis Resort

The interior is clean, stylish, and has its own look, and there’s a pool and bar too. Hidden Oasis was quiet and peaceful, which made it a lovely place for a getaway. It is a bit pricey, but I felt the elegance and experience made it worth the cost.

This is just about the cafe. It’s a quiet, spacious, attractive place to eat, and it’s pet friendly. Coffee gets an 8/10, prices are affordable, and the serving size is fine. The service needs work. The cashier or attendant should be trained to greet and welcome people properly, since they’re the first person customers meet. A nice setting and good food won’t bring people back if the service is poor. I’d also like the dishes improved, even if that means charging more. The food doesn’t quite fit the cafe’s aesthetic. For example, swap the toasted loaf for sourdough or baguette, and offer laminated pastries instead of pastries from S&R. If baking them isn’t possible, they could look for good quality vendors. I’ll update this after our next visit to see whether things have improved.

I felt safe here, with security available 24/7, and the staff and owner were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel also has its own restaurant and cafe, which helps because there aren’t any restaurants within walking distance. It’s near a school and outside the town center, though getting a trike is easy. I stayed for a business trip and found the price reasonable. The rooms are huge, the bed is comfortable, and the clean bathroom is spacious. The place feels warm and homey, with a modern cottage-core style. Food was satisfactory, and breakfast was good. I loved the sikwate and the cafe’s coffee selection. I only wish they had lactose-free milk options. It’s new, clean, and by far the best hotel in Gingoog City for me. I’ll stay here again if I visit.

I came back again and I’m still obsessed with the cafe. The burgers are delicious, and I really like the coffee too. I stayed at the hotel this time, and my room was clean and fresh. The staff were kind and helpful, so I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m back in Gingoog.
