Diversion 21 Hotel

The staff were all so nice, and the hotel itself was really nice too. I appreciated that the hot water was already at a comfortable temperature, hot enough to relax but not too hot for our skin. The pillows and mattress were firmer than we like, though it wasn't a deal breaker.

The service was good apart from the night shift front office staff member, who came across as arrogant and discriminatory toward guests who didn't look professional or wealthy. Even while I was speaking to him, he would talk without looking at me, as if to say, “Go ahead, you don't have money, so why should I serve you?” Management should look into this. Every guest is a VIP and deserves the same treatment.

Function Rooms 2 and 3 had enough space for 60 guests, and the stairs are wide. I also liked the live plants tucked into some corners. The buffet food was flavorful. I was first to get food, though the photos below were taken after everyone had already had their first helping. The brewed coffee cleared away my sleepiness.

The room had so much space, you could do several cartwheels in it, and the bathroom was roomy too, with a large shower and plenty of counter space. Everything was clean. Housekeeping and security greeted us and were helpful. Restaurants are within walking distance, and the airport is a 30-minute drive away.
