The floating restaurant trip was the part that stayed with me most. We ate while drifting across Lake Sebu, with a cool breeze and good food, and kept looking at each other in disbelief that we were actually dining on the water. The lake and mountain views are stunning, and the peaceful setting makes you slow down. They share traditional music and dance from the local community, especially T'boli culture. It felt heartfelt and rooted in the community, not like a forced show. Afterwards, we could talk with locals about their lives by the lake, their traditions, and their connection to the land and water. Hearing it from them added a lot to the visit. It was very humid that afternoon, so the nearby little shops came in handy for cold smoothies, coffee, and souvenirs. We went to Punta Isla Lake Resort with friends and came away with a memorable mix of scenery and culture. If you're near Lake Sebu, I'd recommend the trip to Punta Isla.

We came for a day tour. The lake trip was enjoyable, and the place itself is lovely and quiet, with a really nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.

The lotus viewing was a great experience, even though our turn came around 9:30, when most of the lotus flowers had closed. For walk-ins, get there very early, or make a reservation, ideally for the earliest slot. We hadn't realized reservations were possible. The place is very close to Poblacion, and the front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating, with one exception. We arrived around 6:30 AM to see the lotus, behind a group of 20 and another group of 6. While we waited, a group of 4 arrived and was helped straight away, already dressed for viewing. We were told the group of 6 had booked for 6:30, but the group of 4 went ahead of them and was apparently meant to go after us. That was frustrating and cost them points. We also ordered coffee and waffles, which took about an hour. The waffle was cold when it finally came.

The lake view is so lovely, and the whole place feels peaceful and close to nature. Ang ganda ng lake view, perfect for unwinding and taking photos. It's clean and well cared for, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Sobrang sulit pumunta dito sarap balik-balikan! 💚 Punta Isla is one of the best spots in South Cotabato if you want to relax and enjoy nature. 🌿🌅

Punta Isla was a wonderful visit, and we felt welcome as soon as we arrived. The views of Lake Sebu and the greenery are beautiful, with a calm atmosphere whether you're eating at the floating restaurant or just taking in the surroundings. The staff were attentive, friendly, and ready to help, and our stay was comfortable. The food was tasty, especially the local dishes. Don't miss the fresh, well-prepared tilapia. There's a lovely local hospitality here that makes it feel like more than just a stop to visit. It's a great getaway if you love nature, food, or simply want a break from city life. We had an unforgettable time and will definitely be back.
