Quezon Premier Hotel Lucena

The price felt fair, and I liked the small cacao rooms, which were still big enough. The pool was large, though I didn’t swim. The signage could be more noticeable.

We booked through Klook several days ahead, but the stay was disappointing. At night, unclear signage made the hotel hard to spot, and the room we were assigned had no running water. The in-room phone didn’t work, so I went down to report it. The receptionist was dismissive and unhelpful, leaving another staff member to check the water. She didn’t update us, so I had to follow up in person. The staff member who inspected it was courteous and apologetic. He said the water level was too low to supply our room, and revealed that the receptionist already knew but had assigned it to us anyway. We were moved to another room, but it was noticeably inferior and didn’t match what I paid. Between the missing basic amenity, poor front desk handling, and lack of value, I don’t recommend this hotel.

You can hear noise from other rooms easily, and it gets quite loud. There’s no complimentary drinking water, and very few electrical outlets.

The bed frame was filthy and had rough edges that could leave splinters in your hands. The room was badly deteriorated, with black bugs on the bed. Dogs at the back barked all night. From what I could see, they could only stand or lie down with chains around their necks. The bathroom smelled of sewage, as if something was leaking, and it was so dirty I didn’t shower. I didn’t use the sheets either. I kept my dirty clothes on for the day and slept in them because they felt cleaner than the bedding. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless it’s updated. It wasn’t worth the money.
