I felt unsafe here. It was difficult to lock both sets of doors, including the balcony door, despite there being double doors. There’s no elevator or escalator to the upper floors, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t reach the 4th floor. I was also uncomfortable when the male attendant asked if I was the only person checking into the room, knowing I’m a woman.

It’s cozy, clean, and a safe place to stay in manila. The staff are accommodating and respond quickly when there’s an issue with the room. There’s a fridge and an electric heater for making coffee early in the morning. A cool place to stay!

It’s excellent value and a good place to stay. There’s no stove, so it doesn’t quite have a kitchen. The location is the weak point: expect a substantial walk or plan to use transport. The price is a good deal if you know the area and your plans, but it’s less suitable for a casual tourist.

I really liked the Makati view from the balcony, and the bedroom felt relaxed and classy, with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a closet, and plenty of mirrors, lol. The rooms are very affordable for a staycation, and the hotel design makes it feel a bit like home. Each room has a kitchen with a refrigerator, which you can rent for a very small fee, plus a dining table and chairs and a wall phone. The bathroom has the basics, including a hot shower, toilet, and sink. There’s also a rooftop garden where people can smoke. Staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful, and I liked the reception area with its aquarium, chandelier, and comfy seats. They ask for a small cash deposit at check-in and return it when you check out. It’s a four-storey building with stairs only, but that was totally fine. A very good hotel, and I’d book again.
