Rooms start at PHP 1,400, and free Wi-Fi is available. The hotel is behind Lucky Chinatown Mall, within walking distance of 168 shopping mall, and beside Tiong Se Academy and the barangay hall. It's simply designed, with a dim lobby where pop songs play. Reception is polite. Breakfast comes packed rather than as a buffet, and most guests seemed to be Chinese.

The area felt like a real big city in the Philippines, unlike BGC, and there are malls and shops everywhere. People around there were friendly too. I worried at first about the congestion and narrow streets, but I ended up having a great time. We chose a basic room because of the price, then asked to look at the other rooms later in the week out of curiosity. There are three suites that are much bigger. The basic room has no refrigerator. Staff were very friendly.

The room was a bit worn and the TV had only a few channels, so I gave it four stars. If you're not fussy about the room, I can recommend the hotel. It's cheap, and both the location and staff deserve 10 out of 5. The service was incredibly kind. You're in the heart of Chinatown, about 100 m from the mall and 50 m from McDonald's. There are street food options roughly 100-200 m away, plus a nearby street where you can get a good deal on the things being sold.

It's a great spot for shopping at 168 and the malls nearby, and the staff are pleasant. The rooms are still clean enough, but the place seems to get a little worse every year, with little sign of maintenance. The lobby smells awful. Maybe it'll be good for a few more years.
