If you’re short on money and have nowhere else to go, it’ll do, as long as you don’t expect much. The staff are so laid back that checking in was easy. It’s also a quiet little hideaway if you need somewhere out of sight. Just lock up your scooter or bike.

I’ve never had a room this dirty or unsafe in over 40 years. The photos have nothing to do with the actual rooms. The beds seemed infested, the hotel was filthy, and the staff were unpleasant. They also asked for extra charges even though I’d already paid before the reservation. Don’t go there.

Booking through Agoda or Klook is likely to leave you disappointed. I wouldn’t bother.

The location was handy for the government offices I needed, but I would’ve been better off paying 1,300 a night somewhere else. I booked this place through Agoda because it was advertised at 800+ per night. At check-in, the receptionist charged another 700+ for two nights, saying the online price was below their 1,000-peso nightly minimum. They put me on the fifth floor, with no elevator, and I had to carry the towels upstairs too. I thought I’d save money, but it worked out the other way. Not worth what I paid.
