The bed was comfortable, the room was clean enough, and the air conditioner worked really well. The staff were welcoming, and for what I paid, I felt it was worth it. Getting hot water for coffee was a hassle, though: there’s none in the room or on the floors, so I had to go down and back up three flights to ask reception. The shower had very weak pressure, and the bathroom door wouldn’t shut, leaving a pretty wide gap. Rooms are on the third floor with no elevator, and the windows have no pest screens.

The VIP room was dusty and uncomfortable, and the air conditioner barely felt stronger than a fan. The staff were friendly, though. There’s no elevator.

The rooms are a good size, and the location is very good. Staff are accommodating and try to help, including when the water cuts out because the pump doesn’t work well up on the third floor. Heavy rain can also cause leaks inside the rooms, but staff are quick to respond. There’s no elevator, and every room is on the third floor, so seniors, pregnant guests, families with kids, or people carrying heavy luggage may want to think twice before booking.

For the area, the rooms were okay, but the building is dated and run-down, and the bathrooms are falling apart. There was hardly any water pressure, and running the bathroom water brought up a sewer smell. The front desk offered either a nice room without wifi or a smelly room with wifi. They did clean the room to try to get rid of the smell.
