The service fell short too, since we had to ask for basic necessities. In one room, a broken faucet even caused flooding. Water supply was intermittent, and there wasn't a basic floor mat. The place and its fixtures looked old and poorly maintained. In our room, the faucet leaked, the shower didn't work properly, and the CR smelled bad. The mirror was stained and the tile edges visibly dirty. The hotel needs major improvement in maintenance, cleanliness, and service.

We asked politely for a refund because we'd just arrived and wanted to leave, but they refused. We didn't press it, though it left a bad impression. Within 30 minutes of checking in, it was clear the room wasn't as promised: the aircon wasn't cooling, the CR looked and smelled unpleasant, and the power went out. It was advertised as fully air-conditioned, but clearly wasn't. Not worth the stress.

It's very expensive and dirty, with way too many cockroaches. I don't recommend staying here.

The room was large and had a balcony. The location was okay, not right on the beachfront, but the beach was a quick walk away, around 1-3 minutes depending on your pace. Water gets cut off every night, so save some before the cutoff. It was okay overall.

The owner was pleasant and easy to talk to, and it was easy to chat with people and ask where to eat or what to do. Our room was quite good for the price, and the internet was good too, about 30 Mbps. Saud beach really is a two-minute walk from the front of the hotel. We visited in November 2021.
