This was a complete scam and a stupid situation with this reddoorz gaea hotel in Pangalao. I arrived on my check-in date after booking, but they had no room available for me, so I had to find another hotel. They marked me as a NO SHOW even though they were the ones who didn’t provide the room I booked. Now the full amount has been deducted. Return my money!

A nice tropical setting, with options ranging from bedsits to apartments with multiple rooms. The beaches are all close by.

The room itself was okay, but it was cold at night and the bathroom was cramped and hadn’t been cleaned. The tap water tasted like seawater, which we noticed while boiling it, so don’t use it for drinking. When we arrived, there was no guard at reception, so we had to call the number. Then there was some kind of miscommunication about our booking for two rooms, and at first they gave us only one. Go somewhere else if you can. I gave it a 2 rather than a 1 because you can still make do with it.
