We had a great time using the pools and gym, which had lots of equipment, and there’s plenty to explore around Okada. It’s a HUGE place, so expect to do a lot of walking. Our Premium Double Bed Suite was amazing, 5/5. The sheets were pristine, the bathrooms were super cool, and we had both a massage room and a living room. I’ll always remember the jacuzzi. From the balcony we could watch the fountain show at night, and the bathroom mirror also gave us an amazing view of it. The staff were accommodating and friendly. They replied quickly to my booking questions over email, and it was easy to call with other questions too. If you’re looking for a luxury stay in Manila, Okada is a fun choice.

I’m giving Okada four stars because of my own preferences. There were so many kids around the fantastic pool that it felt more like a waterpark than a luxury hotel. I also noticed guests bringing people from outside, probably extended family and friends, which added to that feeling. There’s nothing wrong with that if you don’t mind a lively pool. The spa has a separate adults-only pool, but it’s smaller and not ideal for sunbathing. Okada is VERY kid friendly, so if you want to lounge by the pool without lots of kids, I’d look at somewhere else, like Fairmont. The rooms are big, the restaurants serve great food, and the service is great. Objectively, it’s a great hotel.

We booked a Deluxe Twin Room, but the problems started as soon as we arrived. The television speaker wasn’t working, so they moved us to another room. That room had broken air conditioning and stayed hot with no air circulation for 24 hours. After we reported it, someone checked and told us to wait because it might take a while to cool down. We kept going back and forth with staff, who repeatedly directed us to the in-room iPads to fix things, without success. Eventually they moved us to a room farther down the hall. It didn’t face the way we’d originally requested, and when we raised that, they said it was the best they could do. The iPads weren’t even up to date. Staff told us to use one to book spa services, but at the resort spa they charged us 1800 pesos more for two people than the listed price. They said, "it's our new updated price," even though that wasn’t the price on the iPad. I’m very dissatisfied with the service and conditions during our stay from 3/2/2026 to 3/5/2026.

The Fountain at Okada Manila was the highlight for us. The water, colorful lights, and music came together beautifully, and the show felt both magical and relaxing. We only visited and didn’t stay at the hotel, but it was still a great experience. Maybe next time we’ll book a stay and see more of Okada. After spending 10 years abroad, I finally got to see Okada for the first time. The place is impressive and beautiful, with an elegant, luxurious building and a grand but relaxing atmosphere. Just walking around was enjoyable. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, and places to sit and take in the surroundings, and everything looked clean, modern, and well maintained.

Our Friday night in the Deluxe Double was lovely, and we wanted to stay through Saturday, but the hotel said it was fully booked. An hour later I managed to book a Deluxe King with Executive Lounge access on my phone. The catch was that our room was in the Pearl Wing and the lounge was across the property in the Coral Wing. We only stopped in briefly, missing both cocktail hour and the included breakfast. At checkout, staff said bookings can’t be made by wing, though you can request Coral Wing after booking, subject to availability. The Medley buffet was good overall, but the lobster, one of the draws for the ₱4,500 per person price, was disappointing in both texture and quality. Our 7-year-old paid half price. Breakfast at the Okada Lobby Restaurant was excellent, and the Okada Lounge was a relaxing highlight away from the casino chaos. The casino was fun too. The Pearl Wing is showing some age. There was staining in the jacuzzi tub, little mold spots on the shower silicone, and dusty or stained curtains. Those details took away a little from the stay, even though the staff were exceptional and the overall family experience felt refreshing and enjoyable. We rated it five stars for the service, atmosphere, and amenities. I’d stick with Okada’s in-house restaurants. The food promenade and food court seemed inconsistent, and TGI Fridays in particular was extremely poor.
