Dream Hill Condos & Spa

The two women running the hotel were kind and helpful, though they generally waited for us to ask before doing anything. The balcony view was lovely, so after one night we moved to another hotel but still used the apartment during the day. We had booked it for six nights. The apartment itself was large, but the furniture was very old, damaged, and felt greasy. The bedroom smelled of mold, and the wooden structure shown in one photo is the bed frame. Several things were missing or did not work, including lights, the gas burner, and water. There were no bins, cleaning, or fresh towels unless we requested them. The pool is tiny, about 6 square meters, and the water was green. A lot of the property looked like it was under construction, but seemed to have been that way for years without progress. I imagine the hotel was nice when it was built, maybe 25 years ago, but it now looks like it has gone a long time without proper care.

The sunset from the hill was mesmerizing, and we’re already thinking about coming back soon. The receptionists were warm and really helpful, and the staff knew how to look after guests. Irwin guided us around and helped with all sorts of problems, from broken phones to showing us how to party day and night. Lloyd was like a personal butler, running errands for groceries and laundry. The hostess, Nicole, was pleasant and very helpful. The apartments are roomy and comfortable, with a spectacular sea view, and they have what you need to cook. There’s good cable TV and air conditioning in the bedroom. It’s basic accommodation, but at a great price with the usual amenities.

A really friendly place with a gorgeous view, just two minutes from the busy beachfront.
