Mary was great, quick to respond and helpful, but after two nights I was glad to leave. The neighborhood is noisy through the day and into the evening, with the noise starting around dusk. The place felt like it cost about twice what it was worth, and I wish I’d looked around more. For the same price, I found newer, comfortable condos in a quieter part of the city with a full kitchen, security, and a pool. There’s not much of a homey feel here. The two beds were uncomfortable, with thin mattresses, and the old AC was really loud. The TV didn’t work, and nobody mentioned that beforehand. Guests get two thin, cheap towels. It needs more comfort, drinking water, a fridge, a microwave, better towels, and nicer decor. Even with those changes, the price would need to be 25-40% lower to make it an okay place to stay.

The rooms and bathrooms are new, and breakfast is laid out in the morning with the look of a top restaurant and nice decor. The receptionist was really nice too. Probably the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Palawan. The only downside was that we couldn’t pay by card, otherwise I’d have given it five stars.

The staff were nice, and the prices were average. It seems like a newly built hotel, with a massive rooftop terrace overlooking Puerto Princessa.
