RedDoorz Plus @ Banawe Quezon City Weekly Stay

It's in a convenient, accessible location, and I've consistently had clean rooms and good experiences here. At 800-900 pesos a night, the price is cheap compared with the province, where the same room and service can easily cost over 3,000 pesos for the room alone. This has always been my go-to place.

The room was spacious and had a water heater, and the area seemed fine. Parking is limited, but you can park on the street. It's very cheap and good for an unexpected overnight stay, so the value is okay. The Wi-Fi wasn't stable.

I felt embarrassed and disappointed by how the female receptionist treated me. I had left an unused RedDoorz pouch behind when I rushed to check in at the nearest hospital, and my patient and I stayed here one night to avoid the commute. A few days later, while picking up supplies at the nearest Save More Supermarket, I returned for the pouch. The receptionist questioned why I had waited, even though my stay had been only five days earlier, and acted as if I hadn't paid properly. I had paid for early check-in and late checkout without complaint, but retrieving the unused pouch became an issue. All I got back was a toothbrush set and comb, though I remembered there being more. I always pay cash, came as a walk-in without using a promotion, and don't have credit cards because I avoid debt. I wanted to get what I paid for, and I won't recommend this place. They also required a 1,000 peso deposit, as if I might steal something, when I felt I was the one who had been robbed. The receptionist was flirting with a condo tenant, which may be why I felt I was treated poorly.

I paid less than a thousand pesos, and for one night the stay was worth the price. It was clean enough to relax and watch TV, though if you're particular, the bottom part of the toilet wall looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. There were also a few cobwebs, but they were tolerable. I'd still come back.
