Wow Budget Hotel Cubao

The outside of the building gave me the wrong impression. I expected a clean, nice hotel for what I paid, but for just a little more I could have chosen somewhere better. The sheets and towels weren't white anymore, and I felt itchy all night in the bed. There was hair on the bed too, so it didn't look like the sheet had been changed. I called to ask for help because the AC wasn't cold enough. The woman who answered sounded like she needed to sleep and was very lazy about it. Customer service could be better. The cheap room and service match, but the price felt too high for an itchy bed and dirty towels. I thought it would be a WOW Hotel, but it turned out to be an EWW HOTEL. Sorry, just being honest.

We stayed for 5 weeks, and the room was big. The price was good and the location was nice. The workers could be friendlier and more approachable, though. The guards were the best, especially one who always had a big smile.

The key card didn't work properly at check-in, and they still had to fix it during our stay. They could have taken care of that beforehand. I asked to change rooms, but they wouldn't, saying there wasn't another room available, even though a room had just checked out when we arrived. Maybe the service was like this because we booked online at a cheaper rate, I don't know. The whole experience was unpleasant.

For the price, it was pretty decent. I stayed one night, and this was the first budget hotel I'd been to where the WiFi didn't fluctuate. Having the shower and toilet separate was convenient. The guards and other staff were superb, though the receptionist could be more approachable.
