Sitio Uno Residences

I felt cheated out of my deposit, with what seemed to me like made-up charges and lies. I won’t stay at Sitio Uno again, even if that means sleeping on the street through a typhoon or the worst storm. I can’t recommend this place. The security guards seemed especially crooked to me, though maybe it’s everyone there. Once they have your money, don’t expect any of it back unless it’s change from a current transaction.

What made my two weeks at Sitio Uno relaxing was the helpful, warm service as much as the amenities. Everyone greeted me with hospitality from the moment I arrived. I had a good stay in Roxas City, the Seafood Capital of the Philippines. My one-bedroom condo worked well for three people. It has a microwave, small refrigerator, electric kettle, and eating utensils in the kitchenette, though there’s no proper stove for cooking. That was fine for me since restaurants and a mall are nearby. The air conditioning worked efficiently, and the shower had both hot and cold water. On a summer day, the pool was a refreshing break. There’s also a laundromat in the building and a souvenir shop with goods made by local cooperatives. The beach is about 15 minutes away by tricycle, Grab car service, or E-Bus.

The outside of the building is falling apart, though there’s a nice pool and the staff are kind and helpful. The place is very small, and I can’t really cook there without setting off the smoke alarm. Also, don’t rent a condo unit from Mercy C Pericon, she’ll rip you off on your deposit.

Sitio Uno is a good affordable place to stay in Roxas City, and they’ll take guests for longer stays too. There are restaurants nearby with plenty of tasty food, plus a nice pool. If you get bored, a spa is just a few steps away.
