The food was the standout for us. The Filipino dishes were the best we had on the island, and everything tasted fresh and lovingly made. We also slept well every night thanks to a very comfortable mattress. The rooms are simple but have what you need. The Beach House is peaceful and quiet, but still a good base for exploring Carabao Island, including little adventures like cliff jumping. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our five days. Vincent at the bar looked after us especially well, and David was kind and easy to talk to. He asked for feedback and suggestions, and you can tell he wants the place to be better for guests. We felt welcome from our first day to our last. Thanks to the whole TBH team. We’d happily return. Carabao Island is worth visiting, and we thought The Beach House was the best place to stay.

The restaurant was happy to make vegetarian versions of dishes for us, so eating there was easy. The staff were welcoming and always smiling, and David went out of his way to make the trip memorable. The place is right on the beach, which made it feel like paradise. My friends and I won’t forget our stay on this magical island, and we’d love to come back.

We stayed in a beachfront hut, close to the ocean, with lovely views and the sound of the waves adding to the relaxed feel. The hotel also arranged activities, including a boat tour around the island, which we really enjoyed. Being next to a marine sanctuary was another highlight, with great snorkeling at high tide. Our room was clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and accommodating throughout our stay. A great spot for a memorable beach break.

The food was amazing, and we loved the South African wine selection at The Beach House. Such a clever find. The whole team made the holiday memorable, and the staff were lovely. It’s a chilled, unspoilt beachfront spot with great facilities. If you want somewhere off the beaten track before major development changes things, The Beach House Hotel on Carabao Island has a magical mix that’s hard to find. See you next year, David and team!
