Jaimee's Hotel

The pool was clean, and you can go straight to the beach. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were professional and focused on service. I don't often call somewhere a hidden gem, but this place deserves it. If I make it back to Maasin, I'll stay here again.

The room, staff, and location were all very good, and it's a nice hotel. Still, the advertised facilities don't match what's there. There's no gym or infinity pool, just a regular pool, and other listed amenities aren't available. I partly booked because I wanted to use the gym. Our room had no working hot water. We asked about it several times and were told it should work. The hotel hasn't recovered from a tsunami several years ago, which I understand, but they shouldn't advertise amenities they don't have.

We had a balcony view over the pool and ocean, and the room was roomy and nicely equipped. The beds were comfortable, and the minibar had snacks and drinks. There were several good dining choices on site, including a rooftop restaurant with beautiful views of the surrounding area.

Awesome place, with friendly people, free breakfast, towels and amenities. The rooms are big, with big bathrooms, and there was air conditioning and a TV. I can't remember whether the shower water got very hot. The hotel has two pools and sits right on the beach. Breakfast came with a beautiful view, and my friend lives just across the road, which was really convenient. The toilet is Western style and has pressure. I was very impressed.
