Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila

The hotel staff were AMAZING, with that world renowned Filipino hospitality on full display. The double suite was comfortable, and I was able to do a couple loads of laundry in the kitchenette. They also supplied a giant jug of drinking water, which was handy. We stayed with family a couple of days before our flight out of Manila. The rooms and facilities were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was alright, with dishes from a handful of other Asian cultures, though the taste left a lot to be desired. If you want to enjoy your calories, I’d eat breakfast outside the hotel. The water from both the faucets and shower had a strange fungal smell that lingered. I guess the pipes are old?

The location puts you in the center of everything, which worked well for us as a family. Our daughter had plenty of room to move around and play, so we could relax more during the stay. The rooms were spacious, well kept, and fully equipped. The service was outstanding from everyone, including the valet, security, receptionists, bellmen, and waiters. Check-in and checkout were seamless. It is pricey, but for that level of service, I think it’s absolutely worth it.

We could walk to everything, and the hotel was stone quiet at night. There really wasn’t anything negative, though a few more power outlets would’ve helped. Our 1 BRM Suite was spotless and nicely furnished. They’d thought of small things like plenty of trash bins, a washer and dryer, a nice ref, two huge smart TVs, a super soft bed and bedding, and ultra-quality towels. Top notch hotel.

The breakfast buffet has loads to choose from, and I especially like the noodles, pasta, and soup area. Kids should enjoy the pool, though I hope they add a playroom soon. We’ve had countless staycations with Ascott since 2023, and I’m finally writing a review. Definitely worth every penny! Parking was smooth. Security greeted us respectfully, checked around our vehicle with their cute sniffer dog, and directed us to a well thought-out space that was easy to park in. The check-in staff were well versed, detailed, courteous, and as accommodating as they could be. The rooms are modern, clean, comfortable, and well maintained. They provide enough useful toiletries, and I like the brand of shampoo, body wash, and lotion. The rooms are soundproof too. I’ve got so many good things to say about them, I might have to start a blog.
