Pyramid Beach Resort

A really nice, peaceful place for breakfast and dinner. The food is good, Swiss-style, I guess, and the wonderful staff keep bringing me back. Valm Divers is next door, and it’s the one I always use. Sorry the pictures aren’t the best :)

The service is top quality, and the pool is the deepest I’ve ever been in, 10 feet! It’s right on the beach, though you can’t get there by car. Parties make it a bit loud at night, but that comes with staying in such a prime location.

Beautiful surroundings and a really nice location. I tried the spaghetti bolognese. The taste and portion were okay, though there wasn’t much meat. We waited 20 minutes before ordering.

The beach nightlife and all the things to do were a big part of why we loved our week here in 2022 and decided to return. This time, though, our first night was almost sleepless. The bar next door is the only one on the beach open past 10 pm, and its very loud bass carried on until around 2-3 am. Earplugs didn’t help, and neither did noise-cancelling headphones. We even went over there ourselves at 2 am, which shouldn’t have been our job. We were told it would be dealt with and that we shouldn’t check out. The second night was fine, but the noise was back on the third. I can handle some noise. I’m still fairly young and have been to some of the world’s biggest rock festivals, where I slept better than this. I’m reluctant to write such a review because we enjoyed our first visit so much, but I hope it saves someone else a few bad nights. If you can sleep through very loud noise, you could add two stars to my rating.
