When we want a quiet swim and some time to unwind, this is where we go. There have only been a few people when we’ve visited, so we’ve had room to enjoy the different pools. The wave pool is a fun feature, and there are two of them, though they run on a schedule. There’s also a large pool with kayaks you can use for free, but you have to wait your turn. You can bring food in plastic containers, but drinks aren’t allowed. There are shops inside, though their beverages cost more. If you rent a room for 2-4 people, it comes with its own small pool, space for a table setup, and a grilling station.

There’s plenty of parking, even for several buses, and for the price I think it’s worth visiting. We still had fun, though this isn’t an exclusive resort, so keep expectations in check. Some pools, including the wave and surfing pools and another nearby pool, were closed during peak season, with no posted operating times. The facilities are starting to look old and could use cosmetic repairs. A few restrooms also needed more cleaning and attention.

You can bring your own food, and there are lots of pools. It’s affordable and family friendly, but you get what you pay for, so don’t expect a high-end resort. Drinks aren’t allowed before 8pm.

We still had a good time, especially in the wave pool, even though some pools weren’t running. It was nice that it wasn’t crowded, and the toilets and showers were clean. Food is allowed in plastic containers, but metal containers aren’t. Drinks aren’t allowed, so you have to leave them at the entrance and take small amounts if needed. They sell water and some soda inside.

We enjoyed the waves, but they were only open for around two hours. The cabanas need cleaning and repairs. On a weekday it wasn’t crowded, and getting there was convenient since it’s near the metro. Food can be brought in disposable containers, while drinks aren’t allowed, though you can buy some inside. It’s a nice place for a day of relaxing.
