Hotel City Inn

The windows in our room wouldn't lock, which felt like a serious security oversight, and the corridor lighting was too dim to get around easily. The carpets were dirty too, a potential hazard for children crawling or playing on the floor. When we asked for sheets instead of blankets because of the heat, nobody fulfilled the request. The rooms and quilts were extremely unclean, and the AC barely cooled the room. Water dripped from it onto the bed and into the washroom, and management didn't handle the problem properly. The food was terrible, tea included, so I'd suggest eating elsewhere nearby. My stay at City Inn was just okay, and I think other areas have better accommodation options.

There was a smell of smoke throughout the hotel and in every room. All the staff smoke too.

The ACs weren't working properly, the food was too expensive, and the staff were insulting. Management was poor. If you book a room and run into a problem, no one solves it; instead, they start arguing with you. Even the manager admits the hotel lacks facilities. Very disappointed.

My friend was staying here for a few days after coming from Dubai to consult doctors about his illness, and I went to visit him. It's an ordinary, comparatively cheap hotel with some cleanliness issues. I'd say it's okay for people on a low income.
