We had the large room, with a lovely view of the streets (see picture). The location was great, right in the old town center. The entrance is through the backyard, a little removed from the reception, staff, and restaurant/breakfast area.

The buffet breakfast was delicious, and the location is perfect if you want to stay in the heart of Gdańsk. The decor feels funereal, though, and cleanliness was only decent. The courtyard entrance is shabby, and it hardly feels like an apartment. There’s no parking or Wi-Fi. The bathroom is spacious but has no hairdryer, and the bed creaks with even the slightest movement. There is air conditioning, an iron, and an ironing board.

The location is great, and so is Restaurant Kos. The apartment looks delicate and inviting at first, but it’s unfortunately not well maintained. Shiny surfaces are sparkling clean, while the rest isn’t. The bed covers are too hard and the cleaning was poor. The location and price are definite pluses.
