The room was a good size, and the furnishings apart from the bed were okay. The bathroom was fine too. The hotel is in the town center near the main square and restaurants, about a 15-minute walk from Jelenia Góra main rail station. The reception area was rather dim, and the place seemed a bit outdated. The bed was basic, low to the floor and not very comfortable. Breakfast disappointed me: the noisy coffee machine overfilled the cups, and cereal came in catering bags that had simply been torn open, making it hard to portion into a bowl. There were cold meats, cheese, rolls, bread and jams, but no cooked food, which is unusual for hotels in Poland.

The room wasn’t warm, and hot water took 10 minutes to come through. The receptionist wasn’t nice, the hotel parking area was dusty, and the breakfast buffet had few options, with the food cold as well. The price is high for this. I’d choose an apartment or another hotel instead. I totally don’t recommend it.

It’s a big building with wide corridors, modern rooms and bathrooms, and my single room was big enough. The hotel is on a historic street near the Rynek, the historic marketplace, and about a 15-minute walk from CS. It isn’t expensive. Breakfast was by Polish standards, and dinner only until 1700, a Polish habit. It could use a central lobby where guests can sit and relax. The coffee bar beside the hotel is worth a visit.

This is my third visit. The hotel is old but being renovated, and the rooms are spacious and very clean. Great location and good value for money.
