Grand Felix Hotel

The hotel was clean, and the staff were polite. I arrived very late at night, almost morning, and had trouble finding the parking. The staff were helpful over the phone, came outside, and showed me where to leave the car.

Room 200 had red marks on the walls, and the beds seemed to have some strange hardened liquid on them. The rooms generally felt old and dirty. In the middle of the night, people even tried to get into our rooms, though at least the doors locked properly. The neighborhood felt sketchy too, with lots of old abandoned houses. The houses still in use looked very old, and many had literal bars in front of the windows. Breakfast wasn't much better. You could basically make yourself a very poor sandwich, and the juice machine gave only water whatever button you pressed. I wouldn't recommend coming here at all.

The staff were rude. Ask for anything and they act like you're disturbing their way of life. Breakfast ended at 9:30, and even when I asked nicely, I wasn't allowed to take a loaf of bread afterwards. The apartment had just one bathroom for two rooms, with no dishes or kettle. Sheets smelled, carpets were dirty, and the halls dusty. The location was in an old block of flats on a dirty estate, in front of a police station. Perfect one star experience.

They let me keep the car parked for longer after checkout, which I appreciated, and the staff were nice and polite. The room was clean. Breakfast wasn't tasty to me, and the WiFi was a bit slow.
