I stayed by myself for two nights, and the service was great throughout. When I asked the front desk for tips about Krakow, one of the women was so kind and friendly. She used a map to point out nearby restaurants and cafés, and I really enjoyed chatting with her. They offered me coffee after check-in and again after checkout while I had left my bag there to go out. There’s also lemon water and candy in the lobby. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from Kraków Główny, and the hotel is easy to reach from the Old Town, Wawel Castle and a local market.

The front desk team made us feel welcome at every turn. They were friendly, very helpful, and kept going out of their way for us. During our Dec 4-9, 2025 stay at Hotel Wielopole, we especially enjoyed the beautiful Christmas decorations, the fun daily message board, and the evening vodka tasting in the lobby. It was a unique touch. The location is hard to beat, an easy walk to The Old Town and the Christmas markets, and convenient for all our tour pickups. Our room was on the small side, but spotless and perfectly adequate for us. Given the service and location, that was a trade-off we were happy to make. Krakow is a beautiful city, and the team made the trip special. I'd highly recommend Hotel Wielopole.

The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and great quality. Staff were amazingly helpful, friendly, and ready to assist with anything. Wielopole Hotel is great value for money. It's very central, within walking distance of the Old Town, Wawel Castle, and lots of restaurants and cafés, so exploring Kraków was easy. I had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.

It's a very good hotel, close to the centre, trams and even the train station. The rooms are nice, and I have no complaints about them. Highly recommend staying here. You can hear a little traffic noise at night since the hotel is right on the street. That could be an issue if you're a very light sleeper who needs complete silence, but otherwise I had a great experience.
