P&J Apartments

The room and service were very good, and the studio was beautiful with all the things you need. I chose P&J again because the service had been good in the past. But the mattress made this stay a huge disappointment, and I definitely won’t come back. I hired Palace 1 for one night. The mattress felt at least 10 years old, with springs pushing into every bone. I could feel right through it to the bottom and even the bed itself. It brought back a time when people in Poland didn’t pay attention to this kind of thing. When the main reason for renting an apartment is to sleep, you expect a comfortable place to rest, especially after a full day of travel. That wasn’t the case here. In the end, I couldn’t take the scrap-like thing poking me anymore, and sleeping on the floor was more comfortable. My tip to P&J: change the mattress once a year to keep up the quality of service you used to provide.

I agreed to pay an extra 300 PLN to change my dates after spotting the mistake just ten minutes after booking. I’d made the reservation two days earlier and asked the hotel to change it or cancel it, but they refused both options. Then they went silent for over 24 hours and came back asking for 600 PLN on top of the 421 PLN I’d already paid. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. It feels like they’re trying to scam people.

I booked the apartment two months ahead, then had to cancel two days later. They said the deposit would be sent back within a few days, but three weeks and countless emails later, I still haven’t received anything. I’m very disappointed with the whole refund process. If there’s a way to take payment, there should be a way to return it. Does this service only work one way? Do you pay and never see your money again?

Two days after we left Kraków for Zakopane, we passed through Kraków Station to transfer, and the staff kindly met us there with something we’d accidentally left behind. They saved us from having to walk back, and we’re so grateful for their thoughtfulness and generosity ❤️. victoria and jacob were wonderful, and everyone on staff was exceptionally accommodating.
