The breakfast was a highlight: tasty, balanced, and focused on quality, with excellent coffee and plant milk if you ask. The playroom is bright and new, with a small jungle gym, though a few more toys would help. We stayed just before Christmas and found the hotel cozy and welcoming, with a real holiday feel and good value for money. The pool is warm, around 32-33°C, with three slides for different ages, a kids’ paddling pool, outdoor thermal pools, and three big jacuzzis. The changing rooms have showers and lockers. Be careful not to lock your wristband before closing the door, or it won’t open again. Saunas cost extra and offer a good range. They were closed yesterday, but we’re planning to try them today. Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with reliable Wi-Fi and a bedroom TV. I liked the bathroom towel warmer and the extra drying rack on the radiator. There’s a strong hairdryer, a shower, and plenty of towels, including a separate set for the pool. No bathrobes are provided, so bring your own. Water dispensers in the hallways are a nice touch. The hotel itself is large and attractive, though the corridors are rather dim, almost like emergency lighting. Check-out is at noon, which is generous, but on weekdays the pool doesn’t open until noon, so you’ll probably be leaving before you can use it. Before Christmas, pool and sauna times vary by day, so check the schedule with reception ahead of time. There’s room for improvement, but we had a great stay and highly recommend it.

A great place for a break. It’s a small town with a castle, and the hotel serves a great breakfast. During the week it’s quiet enough to enjoy the pools almost all to yourself.

HEALTH RISK!!!! Stay away! I went to the swimming pool with my brother and niece recently. Visiting them and going swimming is our tradition. We drive more than an hour and a half to get there, even though there are closer and cheaper pools near us. All three of us ended up with really bad infections. I’m angry and so disappointed. I’ve spent quite a bit on doctors and medication, and I’m going to ask the authorities to check the water quality. I’ll never go back!

It was fairly quiet on a Monday morning, so we had a pleasant visit. The facilities are really modern and new, though the floors are VERY slippery, so watch your step ;) There seems to be a known problem with billing at the sauna bar: we ordered one beer, but were also charged for a Martini. Check the bill at reception before you leave and you should be fine.
