The photos made me want to see this courtyard for myself, but I left disappointed. The water was dirty, with leaves and other odd things floating in it, so the lovely green water against the buildings was hard to see. That’s basically the main attraction, which makes the neglect such a shame.

We went as a family, and the children found it interesting to watch the kitchen staff working through the ground-level ceiling windows. The restaurant smells were delicious, too. The courtyard has a peaceful atmosphere and has been beautifully renovated. It showed me a very different side of Łódź’s courtyards. Definitely worth a visit. We’ll be back.

Easy to get into since the gate is open. The courtyard is quiet, clean, and well looked after, with an interesting art installation. A beautiful spot to visit while in Łódź 👍

While walking along Piotrkowska Street, it’s worth stopping by this beautifully designed courtyard. It impressed me just as much as Pasaż Róży and the recently opened courtyard with chandeliers.
