Really great.

The good parts are the location by the port and being able to bring a dog without an extra charge. After that, the positives run out. For something called an “apartment,” the room was in very poor shape. The listing said the windows would face the courtyard, but instead this is the rear area of several pubs. Deliveries seemed to come almost constantly, and garbage trucks arrived in the morning. It was noisy all the time. There was no Wi-Fi. The kitchen fridge door was coming apart, the room door was badly balanced and kept sticking, and the sofa had stains. The curtain by the bathtub looked decades old and had mold on it. The mirror was placed so awkwardly that I had to stand on a chair to see well enough to do my hair or makeup. Nobody cleaned during our stay or even came by to ask if we needed cleaning or more toilet paper. For a week-long visit, that seems like a basic service, but there was none. We skipped the parking lot because it was an extra charge and cost more than parking in town.

We stayed over this year's May Day weekend, and being right in the center of the sailing village was the one real advantage. Breakfast was included in the price, with a choice of two restaurants outside the hotel. As we had children with us, we got two adult vouchers and two for children. The portions were tiny after we ordered, and the children's breakfast cost half as much even though the per-person price was the same for kids and adults. Parking was a gamble. If a spot was free, you could park behind the barrier with a ticket from reception. The rooms were in roughly decent condition, but clearly hadn't been renovated for a while. There was no elevator either, and for the price, the stay wasn't worth it.

The staff were really friendly, and the spot right by the market square is hard to beat. The apartments have potential, but the rooms and bathrooms need refreshing and some renovation. If you're not expecting much, it may suit you. We were just glad we stayed for one night ;)
