The location is lovely and the restaurant is fantastic, but the hotel needs a serious investment. The rooms feel very basic, and the bathrooms don’t even have enough counter space to put down a cosmetic case. It gets hot, and there’s no air conditioning. Loud, hot, poorly designed.

We only stayed one night as a family, but it was a really enjoyable visit. The service was great at check-in and when we left. Our four rooms were mountain-facing, and I highly recommend that option. It’s a spectacular sight to wake up to. There was no AC, but the breeze helped, and the rooms were large, clean, and comfortable.

Even hotel guests have to pay for parking. We left a day early, and the staff didn’t care to listen to our complaints when we checked out.

Ms Anna at reception was lovely. The service and cleanliness at Batory -Szczawnica were absolutely the best, and the restaurant staff and menu were excellent. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely come back.

The breakfast was excellent, and the hotel has spacious rooms with nice balcony views. A very nice place.
