Breakfast was probably the highlight of our stay. The buffet had loads of choices and everything tasted amazing, and dinner was just as good. Hotel Diament is also handy for getting around on foot, with trails, restaurants, and attractions within reasonable distance. Some of the paths to the hotel could use better lighting at night. The pool and spa area was clean and enjoyable, and families may like the play spaces. Our pool was cold during our stay, though, and there’s just one small spa. It can feel crowded in there and in the pool when it’s busy. We also had to pay extra for basics like robes and slippers, which didn’t feel necessary. The location and amenities make it a decent option for a leisure trip, but noise carried between rooms, and those added charges kept it from getting a higher rating.

We can’t recommend staying here. In our room there was no hot water for a shower, and electrical sockets were pulling out of the wall, which seemed dangerous because of shock risk. Both treadmills at the gym would stop during use and seemed unsafe, with a risk of serious injury. Restaurant service was awful. We waited at the bar for half an hour with nobody serving us, even though the restaurant was empty, and it didn’t seem like anyone felt responsible for hotel guests. There were only five dishes on the menu, and the soup arrived cold.

We had a pleasant stay. The room was nicely furnished to a high standard and had a lovely view. The staff were cheerful and friendly, and deserve a mention too.
