Dukes Hostel - Old Town

The apartment didn't quite match the listing. There was what looked like damp or fungus on the ceiling, the mattress was a bit worn down, ants were by the windows, and the shower door was broken. I have photos of these things.

This was the worst experience of my life. The reception was awful, and there was hair all over the bathroom. The Wi-Fi password was wrong. They said they'd fix it, but they didn't, even though I was working from home. The worst part was the deposit. They didn't return it, and for three months they ignored my emails. When I said I'd call the police, they started replying. They still didn't want to send the money back. Edit 2: They didn't send the deposit automatically, so I contacted them after a week and gave them the same account I had paid with. They said they'd charge me fees, which I refused because I should get the full deposit back. I then gave them another account, but they said they couldn't use it and asked for my PayPal. I sent that, and they said they couldn't use it either. When it started to feel like a scam, I even asked for an Amazon voucher for the deposit. I finally got my money after three months. I swear I'll never stay with this scam again.

Everything was clean and well organized, and the staff were friendly and easy to talk to. The location made it simple to get to public transport, shops, and restaurants. Great job ⭐⭐⭐⭐

For such a cheap price, this hotel is really good and the rooms are clean. I liked having check-in available 24 hours. The location is very good too, near the old town, with żabka and biedronka just two minutes away.
