The apartment has a sauna in the building, which was lovely and well kept, though it costs extra. At 100 PLN an hour, it felt quite expensive. Our stay in Zakopane also involved a bit of an uphill walk to the building, around 15-20 minutes from the bus stop. That distance is manageable, but in winter, especially after a long day in the mountains, the snow can make it tiring. There are bus stops nearby, so you don’t have to depend entirely on a car, and you can check distances to attractions on a map before planning your days. We stayed in apartment no. 3 with two adults and a child, though it sleeps three. The welcome was warm and check-in quick and well organized. Each apartment has its own parking space. Another car partly blocked ours once, but staff promptly offered us another place to park. At first the apartment looked very clean and cared for, but the next day we found all the plates in the cupboards were dirty. Staff dealt with that quickly after we told them. The kitchen is small and basic, fine for a short visit, but it had no salt, pepper, oil, or pasta strainer. The kitchen lights were broken, and the walls had chair scratches and could use fresh paint. The main reason we wouldn’t book this particular apartment again was the noise. It’s right by the entrance, and the walls, ceiling, and doors are thin enough that we heard everything, from the building door opening to snow squeaking under boots and the heavy front door slamming. A very loud family with a child stayed above us, with running around from early morning until late at night. We had mentioned the quiet hours, but the noise continued for practically our whole stay. Apartment no. 3 also didn’t feel roomy enough for three people. The place does have advantages, including cleanliness, friendly service, dedicated parking, and public transport access.

It was peaceful and relaxing at Biały Miś Apartments in Zakopane, and the comfortable setup made the stay very enjoyable. The apartments were very clean, with tasteful interiors and nice attention to detail. A great place to unwind in the mountains, definitely worth recommending.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, and getting to the city center was convenient, with an alternative bus and a stop nearby. We loved the beautiful views and the charming, atmospheric building. It was warm and clean, and seeing the sheep being led out to pasture early in the morning made the stay even more special. We’d gladly return and recommend it.

There’s a gazebo and barbecue area on the property, and sometimes you can spot a shepherd taking his sheep to graze very close by, which gives the place an unusual feel. It’s well placed for reaching Strążyńska Valley and then exploring other trails. Inside, the wooden furnishings are beautifully done throughout the apartment, with a highlander style that reflects Zakopane craftsmanship.
