A non-refundable deposit is required, but once we arrived the conditions were unbearable. There was no heat when we checked in, the floor was freezing, and turning on the heating didn’t make a difference. Taking a shower was miserable, and I had to sleep in my thermal clothes. I got ill after our one night there. We contacted reception repeatedly and asked to move rooms. My boyfriend even offered to pay extra, but nobody helped. After several attempts to get someone to listen, we left. We called reception to say we were leaving because of the terrible conditions, and the receptionist said he was too busy to deal with it. No apology, and no refund.

During our stay, Dec 10-Dec 15, 2022, in room 27, it was cold enough inside that I could feel air blowing against my skin. I asked the staff several times to fix it, but nothing changed. After one day, my girlfriend got sick. Outside it was only 0-3 degrees below zero. We were going to leave for another place, so I called and asked if they could refund us. They said they didn’t have enough time to deal with our problem)))) I’m open to discussing this with the owner and would edit my review if partial compensation is available.

Almost every room has a balcony with a VIEW, and the place was really clean! The staff were friendly and breakfast was great. It’s near the City Center too. We’ll definitely come back next year!

The half pension is good for the price, though it could use a little salt :) The accommodation is very good, close to both the Tatry and the city center.

A beautiful place, with good-tasting food and a really comfortable location for the hotel.
