It felt a bit like visiting grandma’s house: homey, simple, and welcoming. Some light switches and outlets don’t work, but the people are nice, there’s a good mix of guests, and the staff were helpful and accommodating. It was affordable for the area, with breakfast included. I had a great time and would return if I get to visit Zakopane again.
The house is old, and the beds creak when you move. Still, the place was clean, the kitchen was good, and the staff were helpful. The bathrooms are large, though they only have bathtubs for showering. The bus stop, restaurants, and city center are all within 1 km.
The staff made us feel welcome and went beyond what I expected to help. The rooms are beautiful and the standard is high. Couldn’t be happier with this stay, five stars, highly recommended!
The shared room was cozy, and the staff were friendly. It’s well placed near the Zakopane railway station, with Glubowka hill and Krupowki street within walking distance. The only drawback I can think of is that there’s no breakfast.
It was raining when I got to Zakopane, so I couldn’t go out sightseeing and spent most of the day inside the hostel. The staff were really cooperative and helpful. They helped us choose places to visit and even kept us entertained.
