We were on the sixth floor with a view of the parking lot, which was spacious and free. The room had a queen bed, dressers, a sofa, desk, safe, fridge, microwave, hairdryer, iron, and a TV with lots of channels plus a printed guide. The modern bathroom came with plenty of towels and Dove bath lotion, and the air conditioning worked very well. The hotel was clean and the staff attentive. There’s a West Coast Bistro in the lobby and Tropical Casino on the other side, with private elevators for guests. We stayed only one day, so didn’t get to use the pool or other facilities. If you need a place in Mayagüez, I’d recommend it. The rate seems reasonable for what’s offered.

Our bartender Joan made coquito from scratch for us on Christmas Day. We asked, and he could easily have said no, but instead blended it right there for us. It was delicious. Housekeeping was great, and the front desk was very helpful too. The staff really made the stay, and I’d recommend the place for its service.
10/10
We spent a week here and loved the uncrowded pool. It felt almost like our own, and the location was handy for the supermarket and other places nearby. The room was very clean, with plenty of towels. Pamela was kind and did an excellent job keeping the room. Everyone on staff was great. My girlfriend and I had an excellent stay; the only thing I’d change is giving the pool deck chairs a power wash.
8/10
The location worked really well for us, and the front desk service was great. The room was clean, though the fridge seemed unreliable and probably needed replacing. For the price, I expected breakfast to be included.

Alejandro made a real difference to my stay at Holiday Inn. He was attentive from the moment I arrived, greeted guests with a smile, and was always willing to help with any request. His dedication and positive attitude stood out, and I’d recommend the hotel based on the service he provided.
