For our one night in Old San Juan, this worked well. The room was tiny and we could barely fit our bags, but it was clean and had its own bathroom. The bed was comfortable, and the place is on a quiet street while still being close to everything in this part of PR. A good option for a 1-2 night stay.

I went back to check the Booking.com description because I wondered if I’d missed something, but it never says that the kitchen, dining room, and living room are shared. That felt really misleading. I wouldn’t have minded sharing them if that had been made clear.

The email they sent before check-in was really informative, and they answered all my questions. Our first room had a problem with the AC, so I called about it and they moved us to another room quickly, without changing the price. Great experience and customer service.

The townhouse looks amazing in the photos, and the room was clean with fresh towels and bedding. It’s definitely very photogenic. But we had no wifi for our whole stay, which made the first few days in Puerto Rico really difficult and put a damper on the trip. The manager offered us another site, but it had the same problem. Only the rooms had air conditioning, so the other areas got too hot to relax in. There were holes in the walls to the outside, presumably for old-style ventilation, but bugs came in through them and all four of us got bitten. Bright lights outside every room also shone through those holes and kept my partner from sleeping deeply. It’s a great spot in a great location, but it doesn’t seem to be locally owned, and some basic things were overlooked. I’ll let mi esposa handle the review on whatever booking platform we used.
