We’d happily stay here again. The room was clean and nicely decorated, and the staff answered our questions quickly. It’s in a quiet part of San Juan, with shops and restaurants close enough to reach without dealing with constant traffic or the main city’s noise. The beach is walkable too, if you’re up for an easy stroll.

The area felt safe, and the rooms were decent, though there isn’t much nearby apart from the beach. They told me my reservation had been canceled and didn’t offer another room. I called a second time, though, and it got sorted out.

We only needed somewhere for our last night in Puerto Rico and booked at the last minute. Jorge helped make it work, and the apartment was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. The team was so attentive that we felt right at home. Food places and the beach are both within walking distance, and everything else seemed close by too. We wished we could have stayed longer, and we’re already planning another trip back. This place really feels like a hidden gem.

I was very happy with the property management team. Booking through their website was straightforward, and they answered every question quickly and courteously before, during, and after my reservation. The units are inside a locked, gated property. Mine had a well planned layout, lots of counter space in the kitchen and bathroom, a spacious combined kitchen and living area, and a very large bathroom. The bedroom was roomy and cozy, with powerful AC. WiFi was easy to connect to, reliable, and very fast. The beach is a short walk away, with broad ocean views and a narrow area where locals and visitors relax. There’s a small stand with limited services, plus a woman who gives salsa lessons each evening. Ocean Park is lively, so expect ordinary neighborhood noise like light construction, barking dogs, and car radios. I’m a light sleeper and would bring earplugs next time. My one concern was walking away from the beach toward the two closest grocery stores. I never felt in danger, but it wasn’t a pleasant area to pass through. Having a car would avoid that issue. I enjoyed staying at La Esmeralda and would gladly work with this team again. They know what they’re doing.
