The beachside neighborhood was a major plus. Calle Loíza has restaurants, bars, and places to explore, and the area was convenient and fun. But the room and the response to its problems really brought down my stay at Nómada Urban Beach Hostel in Puerto Rico, where I spent six nights in the Queen Bedroom with Balcony & Bathroom. The floors were dirty when I arrived, and I found roaches in a drawer. I told the receptionist right away but got no follow-up or solution. I bought my own spray to kill them and kept asking for room service or cleaning every day until day five.

The location made it convenient to get to attractions, restaurants, and transportation, and the hotel felt like good value for the money. My room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after, so it was easy to unwind after a long day. Staff were friendly, professional, and ready to help with questions or requests. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend it.

The room had no window and smelled bad. The kitchen wasn’t properly equipped, and the dishes were dirty. They also kept my $50 deposit. I was supposed to get it back within 10 days of checkout, but nothing came through, and they’re ignoring my messages.

The private rooms were really clean and comfortable, and the vibe at Nomada was the best. The staff were lovely and helpful. We had so much fun, especially with the great food at the speakeasy restaurant and bar attached to the place. LOVE LOVE LOVE Nomada.

This place felt overrated. I booked a private room for a December 2025 trip, but the A/C wouldn’t hold a comfortable temperature. The controls didn’t work, so it was either too hot or too cold. The room and bathrooms weren’t clean and need maintenance. The noise was insane, too.
