The neighborhood is lively and trendy, and best of all for us, very budget friendly. The apartment was spacious and clean, with a microwave, stove and oven, coffee maker, and fridge. It had adorable homey touches, fantastic AC, a private back patio off the bedroom, and a large shared patio off the kitchen. The wrought iron gates are gorgeous, and the place feels secure. When our rental car agency let us down, the owner/operator came to pick me up in his own vehicle, with his wife and kids along. He stayed in regular contact by text and was incredibly kind and helpful, going way above and beyond to make this a great experience. #PRSELEVANTA

We couldn’t get any rest here. One of the couple of nightclubs nearby is directly across the street, and even on a Thursday the music was unbearable. Parking was bad too. People at the nightclub tried to charge us for parking on the street, so we wound up leaving the car about three-quarters of a mile away. We tried to stick it out, but it was so loud that we left that same night and slept in our car somewhere quieter. The owner refunded $50 of the $130, but I still wouldn’t go through the hassle again or recommend it to anyone who needs a night’s sleep.
