Ararat Hotel

The restaurant was a highlight, with delicious food, attentive service, and a breakfast buffet that had plenty of choices. Staff also took dietary restrictions into account. We loved the gym, the views of the city, and the cozy lounge for a drink after a long day. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed, quality bedding, a clean bathroom, and modern decor that made it a nice place to unwind. Staff were welcoming from the moment we arrived, answered questions, and offered local suggestions. Ararat Hotel Bethlehem is in a fantastic spot, close to local attractions and landmarks. It’s within walking distance of the Church of the Nativity, the Milk Grotto, and Shepherd's Field, and only 8km from the Old City of Jerusalem. We had a wonderful stay that exceeded our expectations, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, luxurious stay in Bethlehem.

Our large group was there for the Holy Land pilgrimage, and the central location meant everything was nearby. After long days of sightseeing, the comfortable beds were welcome. The rooms were cozy and a good size, with clean bathrooms and showers. Breakfast and dinner had plenty of tasty choices. I’d highly recommend the hotel.

The suite was lovely and spacious, with a little kitchenette and sink, a huge sitting area, and a separate bedroom. The water pressure was excellent, there were plenty of towels and fresh, clean sheets, and they even decorated the towels each night for my husband and me. The staff were kind and incredibly efficient, kept checking that we had what we needed, answered questions, and connected us with the right people for tours and information. The rooms were clean, and we felt completely safe. Calling it a wonderful experience would be an understatement.

It worked for a one-night stop, but I wouldn’t call it a four-star hotel. The food was okay. There was a kettle but no mugs in the room. It wasn’t very clean, and the towels weren’t great, though they were fine for sleeping over.
