The location made it easy to explore Angra do Heroísmo, with the main sights just a few minutes away. What really made our stay, though, was how welcoming Sergio & Helena and the whole team were. They took time to explain what to see around town and the island, and shared detailed maps and recommendations. Breakfast was full of fresh local ingredients. The homemade cakes and granola were especially good, and I loved the local cheese too. You can tell they put care into making it each morning. We had a lovely stay and would happily recommend Memoria to anyone visiting Terceira.

We stayed in the suite, which was spacious, very clean, and had all the amenities we needed. The hotel is right in the city center, about a 20-minute drive from the airport. Helena and Sergio were wonderful hosts throughout our vacation in the Azores, and the reception staff were great too. Sergio shared lots of useful island tips, from places to visit and swim to restaurants. We had an early departure, and they helped us arrange everything. Breakfast was amazing as well.

The location is great, the beds are comfortable, and breakfast was good. The place is exceptionally clean and thoughtfully set up. Sergio, Helena, and Beatriz were the most accommodating people I've met while traveling. My favorite hostel so far, highly recommend it.

We had a suite for a week, and it felt like staying with family. Helena, her husband Sergio, and the staff were some of the loveliest people we've met. The included breakfast was a big plus, and the location made it easy to get to Angra's attractions, restaurants, and bars. If you're renting a car, there's free street parking or a spot about 150 metres away by a church. I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. I'd definitely recommend it for a trip to Terceira.

The hotel is immaculate, and everything is within walking distance. There's also an honor bar where you can buy items at cost after hours. The staff are honest and open, and treat you like family. They'll help with all parts of your visit, including arranging car rentals, activities, and transfers. If you're leaving before breakfast, they'll provide a breakfast box. For a small, centrally located place with owners who take a personal interest in your stay, this feels like a five-star experience, not a two-star one. Love these people. XO. Susan Brown
