For one night, it was decent value, and having breakfast and parking included was nice. But the bed had a deep dip in the middle, so I felt like I was sliding into my partner all night. The walls are thin, too. I heard the kids next door when they woke up at 6am, and the man on the other side was coughing most of the night.

Most of Coimbra’s tourist sights are within walking distance. We had a good stay here. It’s more traditional than boutique, with larger rooms and full-size sinks.

The AC turns off when we leave the room, which is a shame. It’d be nice to set it to run so we don’t come back to an overheated room.

Most of the sights are a 10-15 minute walk away, and the hotel is great value. I loved the spacious, very clean rooms, attentive and polite staff, and excellent breakfast. The exterior is beautiful, and there’s a large overflow pool. If I visit Coimbra again, this will be my only choice. Amazing hotel!

The location was good and the rooms were normal, but the walls were incredibly thin. At times I couldn’t tell if something was happening in my room or the one next door.
