Casa do Lavrador was a very cool place to stay in the hot summer, with direct access to the pool. It’s an ultra-spacious two-room house, and I’d definitely recommend it.

A fantastic place to visit and enjoy as a tourist.

The accommodation is rustic and affordable, set in a former riding stable that’s still being refurbished. Finding it by phone voice navigation can be tricky. There’s a blue gate that’s nearly always shut, so head back to the main road and enter through the open gate instead. The pool is dirty, and the tiles around it are crumbling, which makes the edge unsafe for anyone walking barefoot.
