Vila Rosário 3 studios with Patio by Homeful Homes

This was incredibly unprofessional. We booked the flat on booking.com months ahead because we were traveling with a six-month-old and needed specific things like a kitchen and washing machine. Then, a day before arrival, booking.com notified me that the host had canceled. I tried asking the host, who had been messaging me before, what had happened, but never got a reply or any explanation. So I was left looking for somewhere else to stay the day before traveling to Lisboa with our baby.

The area is great, with a shop just around the corner, and the shower gets nice and hot. But this apartment has been a letdown. We picked it because it was meant to be quiet, yet we hear the upstairs neighbors’ music and everything they say and do as they move around. It’s noisy and creaky, and communicating with the host has been unpleasant. The host emailed us about changed check-in times only after we’d booked. The place was advertised with a 12 pm check-in, but they left us outside with all our bags for four hours in the first downpour of the year. We’d considered finding another hotel for the last two nights because of the noise, but didn’t want to waste the money. Our clothes are still drying after three days because the apartment only has air conditioning. The kitchen is only partly equipped. I also don’t see how four people would fit when there are just three seats. We’d been excited to come, but the host’s messages about the new check-in time started the whole stay off badly. The area is nice, so find somewhere else nearby. Just not this apartment.
