The weekend left us feeling refreshed. The place is beautiful, with nature and animals all around, and Sandra, Ricardo, and their children made us feel right at home. They really know how to welcome people. We’d happily come back again and again.

I haven't stayed there myself yet, but Sandra and Ricardo were wonderful when I called to ask for help arranging a surprise for friends spending two nights at Quinta da Mimosa. They went out of their way to put together a lovely gift: a personalized box with photos, cake, wine, cheeses, flowers, and fruit. My friends loved it, and I was so happy with how it turned out. They're such good people. I've promised I'll come spend a weekend at Quinta myself. Thanks so much for helping me 🩷

I had no idea there was a paradise so close to Lisbon. You really do feel like you've stepped into another world. There's so much to say about this enormous Quinta that I'll have to keep it short. Ricardo and Sandra are warm, humble, and thoughtful hosts who make you feel like part of the family. The estate seems endless, and every corner has something to say about life. The decor is lovely, and breakfast is homemade and excellent. There are chickens whose fresh eggs are served at breakfast, and a heated saltwater pool too. The star of the place is Rita, a donkey who's clever, gentle, affectionate, and always ready to play with the guests, including the four-legged ones. My pet made a friend. We'll definitely be back, and I challenge anyone who hasn't been to give this wonderful place a try. Dear Sandra and Ricardo, all the best and much success in the future. Cila Dias

We loved waking up to a delicious breakfast each morning, and the hosts were so welcoming. There are lovely animals on the property, roaming around freely and looking for company, and plenty of trees provide shade. The cottage itself was quite dark, with little natural light, but it stayed nice and cool inside.

The pool and football field were great, and there were lots of outdoor activities for kids and grown-ups. We had a good stay in a peaceful place, with welcoming owners and a very nice breakfast. My daughter got so attached to little Valentina that she cried when she got home and missed her. We also loved the mascots, Manel, the mini goat, and Rita the donkey.
