Moov Apartments Boavista

Catia was so accommodating when our early flight got us to the apartments ahead of time. She let us into our bright, spotless, lovely apartment early. It had everything needed for self-catering, plus a lovely balcony and a very large bed. The reception staff were wonderful too, and upstairs there’s a nice terrace and lounge area. Our one preference would have been to have a TV in the bedroom. The TVs are in the sitting, work, and kitchen area. Still, they had a great selection of English-language movie channels, including my favourite, Smooth Radio. It was easy to get into the centre by Metro. We’ll definitely return to Boavista with my husband. This place deserves 5*.

Getting around was easy: it’s a 20-minute subway ride from the airport with no transfers, then a 7-minute walk from the station. Compignan Station is a great location, about 11 minutes from the station. Major sights are reachable by subway, and buses to most of them stop right across from the hotel. There are plenty of supermarkets, restaurants, and department stores within a 10-minute walk. Best of all, it’s incredibly quiet and away from the tourist attractions. I chose the most basic room, but it was spacious, and the bed and dining area being separated by a wall was a great touch. The bathroom was super clean, including the drain, faucet, and toilet. I stayed in winter and the room was quite warm, though I can’t say what it’s like in summer. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided everything I needed. They helped me contact the airport and look for lost items, and cleaning was very thorough. Messaging on WhatsApp was seamless too. Quiet, clean, roomy, and affordable. It was the perfect place, and I want to come back. I had such a wonderful time!

Everything in these new apartments felt brand new, and they were equipped with what we needed for a comfortable stay. Our room was cleaned daily, and the kitchenette had everything needed to cook. There’s underground parking for €10/day, with a coworking space and terrace on the top floor. Public transport is close by, and there are chain stores and a shopping center on the next street. It takes about 20 minutes by bus to get to the city center and 10 minutes to the beach. The only issue with the new room was that the hood wouldn’t turn on, apparently because of a construction error. I also found the mattress too hard, though my husband was comfortable. I definitely recommend staying here for a business trip or a family vacation.
