We had a wonderful stay for two nights with six girls. The place is beautiful and the host was very nice. I booked through Airbnb, but missed the deadline to leave a review there, so I’m writing here instead. Would definitely stay again. Thank you :)

Hi, I couldn’t get in touch through Booking.com and couldn’t find a website, so I wanted to ask a few things. Is the property private, are there other houses to rent there, and does the owner live on the property? I absolutely loved it. The whole experience was incredible for the senses. It feels like a little village, secluded from everything, where you can make unique memories with family, at a party, or by staying in rooms away from the noise of the city. A great place to unwind from work stress. The property is old but renovated, and they haven’t overlooked any detail in keeping its original character, right down to the surrounding vegetation. It really makes you feel cut off from the world. A casa do Palheiro is a unique world within another world. Don’t miss it. As we were leaving, we were already thinking about when we could come back. We left as different people.

The pool was all ours, and the views were magnificent. There were also lovely, friendly, incredibly cute animals! Fantastic holiday in a beautiful, welcoming place. Thank you to Mónica and Hugo for being so kind and helpful. It was wonderful, and we’ll be back! ☀️
