The owners are polite and helpful, and there's a grocery store as well as a small bar and restaurant nearby. The apartments are handy, about a 10-minute walk from Funchal city centre. The kitchen is well equipped, so you can make almost anything you want. I'd recommend it to anyone spending time in Funchal. If you need lots of space, you'll probably want to look for somewhere more expensive.

The lower apartment has what you need for simple living. The city centre, bus stops, nice parks and good restaurants are all a 6-15 minute walk away. Keep in mind it's on a hillside and there's no clothes washer. Since it's the lower unit, the Wi-Fi can be weak or unstable.

The apartment is excellent, with good-quality fixtures and fittings. I'd definitely book it again if I returned to Madeira.

There was usually free parking nearby, and it's close to the centre. A lovely place with everything a couple needs. :)
